Matching chairs and metal bench

Bench for two and matching chairs that need a soft cushion for comfort also.  Maybe one day we will have less rain and the people will place their cushions on these benches and chairs.

Irish butterfly bench

Was out on a walk Monday afternoon before the rains came back. . . was walking with a friend in the Arnada neighborhood.  They have a wonderful green design in the traffic circle in the middle of the street intersections and it has been there a couple years now but this bench is the new addition.  It is near the corner  and I  think it is handmade by someone working with metal.  The design is quite unique in shape and flying butterfly cutouts.  I bet it's a welcome sight for  the elderly walking around this neighborhood!  The design is certainly unique and it looks comfortable.  I will try it out next time.

Bench at C-Tran Transit Company

This bench is right outside the office where I had to go last Wednesday and Friday during training for being a Travel Ambassador for our city bus company.  I will teach people how to ride the bus ( people that  live in my building and one other downtown near me.)  For that, I get a free bus pass for a year. I think I am going to enjoy it!  What will I do with all the money I save buying monthly bus passes?  A trip to the beach sounds great to me!

Was in a different drugstore recently when I spotted this bench. . . it certainly looks more comfortable than that small chair in the corner!

Unusual design bench

This lovely white bench is unusual because it seems to have the seating portion in mid air. . . but if you look closely, you can spot the welding that makes it safe to sit upon.  I find it a beautiful bench design!

I bet this bench is a favorite respite when the weather is warm  and they can sit on it and people watch!

Shelter from the rain and snow and a teensy place for two people to sit to wait for the school bus.  I found these benches in Port Orchard.  It looked to me like someone stole the board that was to go on top of the braces so the triangles were substituted. . . but who really knows the story behind these tiny benches. . .

The lady that owns this one came out to talk to me when she saw me photographing her bench.  She told me to come back at Christmas time as it would have different occupants on it then but alas, I would be back home in Vancouver by then so missed out on the Christmas theme.  That's ok as I was just looking for benches!

Sturdy pebble and cement bench

This bench should last a long time in this  spot.  Too heavy to move/steal it!  Nice when you need to pause during a long walk.
