These benches are really very comfortable and "cool"to sit on as they can "breathe" beneath you. . .

Tiny corner benches

Shelter from the rain and snow and a teensy place for two people to sit to wait for the school bus.  I found these benches in Port Orchard.  It looked to me like someone stole the board that was to go on top of the braces so the triangles were substituted. . . but who really knows the story behind these tiny benches. . .

The lady that owns this one came out to talk to me when she saw me photographing her bench.  She told me to come back at Christmas time as it would have different occupants on it then but alas, I would be back home in Vancouver by then so missed out on the Christmas theme.  That's ok as I was just looking for benches!

Sturdy pebble and cement bench

This bench should last a long time in this  spot.  Too heavy to move/steal it!  Nice when you need to pause during a long walk.

Yard bench

Bet it's a perfect place to sit and people watch from your yard when the weather is nice out . . .

This bench may look old BUT at least it is comfortable to lean back on!

One person's idea of a bench from used materials. . . not sure how comfortable it would be but IF I were tired enough, I might sit down there. . . might I said!

Last week, I went to a new store in town for the first time and was greeted by these benches near the front entrance.

Pharmacy bench

It isn't really pretty but sure was comfortable sitting on it while my prescription was being prepared at a new pharmacy I went to Tuesday.
